Following a degree in Archaeology & Anthropology, I spent half my working life in accountancy, administration and computer programming, qualifying as an Accounting Technician along the way. I then became a Chartered Librarian and spent the other half of my working life as a Library Manager in the NHS. Since ‘retirement’ I work as a freelance Online Indexer.
I have been a treasurer and/or trustee for over forty years with a wide range of groups and charities – from music to childbirth and parenting, to special interest library groups, to church groups. I am a member of Coast Congregational Church in the North East of England and am currently a Congregational Federation Trustee, chairing the finance and investment committees. I have been a C and G Trustee since 2019.
I am married with two daughters and two grandchildren. My interests and activities include reading, music/choir, gardening, Bollywood dancing and wire fox terriers.
