Revd David Grosch-Miller

TRUSTEE

After graduation from the University of Manchester I was ordained into the Ministry of the United Reformed Church and served local churches in Bradford and then Leeds. Following this I was appointed Moderator of the South Western Synod of the URC and later served as Interim Assistant General Secretary before becoming Moderator of the General Assembly. I am now retired and live with my wife Carla in Morpeth, Northumberland. I regularly join the faithful attending the Cathedral on the Hill, home of NUFC, and can be found wandering the fairways of my local golf club. Children and grandchildren in Leeds, St. Neots and Newport Beach CA keep us on the move.

Previously, I have set up a charity for youth work in Bradford and another for elderly people in Roundhay, Leeds. I have been a Trustee of Charitable Trusts for church, hospice and housing charities and been a member and chair of governing bodies of primary and secondary state schools and a governor of an independent church school. I became a C and G Trustee in 2019 and now see my primary role as encouraging and supporting those tasked with leading the Church in new and innovative ways of being the faithful people of God.
